PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The FFN Rapid Test Kit is a room-temperature-stable lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of fetal fibronectin (fFN) in cervicovaginal swab samples. It is designed for professional point-of-care use as an aid in preterm birth risk assessment in pregnant women presenting with signs or symptoms of preterm labor. The test requires no special instrument and provides clear visual results in 10–15 minutes, making it suitable for clinics, hospitals, and obstetric departments. With storage at 2–30°C, it eliminates cold-chain requirements and supports convenient on-site testing.

Fetal fibronectin is normally absent or present at very low levels in cervicovaginal secretions after approximately 22 weeks of gestation. Its detection may indicate disruption of the maternal-fetal interface and has been associated with an increased risk of preterm birth. For in vitro diagnostic use only.
